Reymundo J. Villalobos was born and raised on the South side of Chicago and is a graduate of Washburne Culinary Institute. For the past six years, he has served as Executive Chef de Cuisine at Table Fifty-Two, a Southern American restaurant in the Gold Coast area in Chicago.
Food has always played an important role in Rey's life and culture, and it is his family traditions that influence him to develop new ideas and amazing dishes. He also enjoys learning about other cultures and the cuisine of different countries.
Although Rey has cooked for many well known public figures, his ultimate goal is to open his own restaurant to give back to his old community.
