An energetic and interactive culinary event where YOU get to be the food critic! Watch three of Chicago's top chefs compete to win your vote!
Enjoy an evening of outstanding food, beer and wine, including a sample of each competing chef's dish! There will also be amazing prizes to win, all in the name of a great cause. All proceeds benefit the Scleroderma Foundation of Greater Chicago.

As a food fanatic, Amanda Puck can be found all over Chicago’s vibrant dining scene, enjoying it one bite at a time. Through her new and emerging media efforts, Amanda makes valuable connections that generate buzz and revenue for her clients as the EVP of XA, The Experiential Agency. A foodie first, Amanda was the Managing Partner of Spago Restaurant and also the two-time Emmy Award winning host of “Check, Please” on WTTW Channel 11 for its first two seasons in 2001 and 2002.

The James Hotel is a 297-room luxury boutique, which received recognition on Travel + Leisure magazine’s World’s Best Awards, is centrally located on the corner of Rush and Ontario, steps from Chicago’s famous Michigan Avenue shopping district, Millennium Park and renowned museums.
What is the attire?
Dress is best described as casual chic. Whatever you would wear to dinner or a night out. Dresses and sport coats encouraged. Jeans accepted.
Is there seating available?
There is limited seating, but this is not a sit-down event. Girls, try to wear comfortable shoes! If you have special requests for seating, please contact us.
Are there vegetarian options?
There are few vegetarian options. We try to provide a veggie option or two in the hors d'oeuvres, but the chefs' dishes typically contain meat. Remember, it is a competition!
Parking and transportation?
If you are driving, we recommend using The James Hotel valet services. They are offering Food Fight attendees a discounted rate of $14. Located in the busy River North neighborhood, just steps from Michigan Ave, the hotel is also easily accessible by train, bus or cab.
